Middleton Place is featuring camellia walking tours March 2nd, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, and 16th. Special 11:00 am walking tours given by expert guides focus on the historic camellias, including the 1786 Reine des Fleurs, one of the first camellias planted in America. Tours last approximately 75 minutes.

Parents rejoice! Every Sunday, kids eat free at Mellow Mushroom at the Tanger Outlets in North Charleston! End the weekend with a yummy pizza and happy kids! Lowcountry Stargazers will be set up in Brittlebank Park starting March 6th, 13th and 20th for Astronomy in the Park! They will have telescopes set up to view the stars and there will be a question and answer session. This event is sure to be out of this world! Celebrate the luck of the Irish at the North Charleston St. Paddy’s Day Block Party and Parade March 9th, 12-6 pm. This event features a St. Paddy’s parade at noon, kids zone, live music, and food vendors will be set up for the block party! Don’t miss this kid-friendly event! The 6th Annual Charleston STEM (which stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) festival is March 9th, 2019 from 10 am – 3 pm in New location. This educational festival features 80 exhibitors featuring hands-on learning activities for children of all ages.
Head out for a Sunday-Funday on King Street March 10th for Second Sunday on King! Enjoy vendors, music and a car-free – King Street. Check the website for more details of the day and a free parking voucher!
The Festival of Houses and Gardens start March 13th and runs through April 18th. Participants can choose their event and purchase tickets. This year’s Walk for Water event hosted by Water Mission is a great charity fundraiser event! Each year, participants walk 3.5 miles in Charleston, starting at Riverfront Park to raise money for others to have access to clean water. This years event is March 30th at 9 am.
