In operation since 1924, the Coastal Carolina Fair is the largest in the region! Held every fall in October/ November, this is one family-friendly event not to be missed! This year’s festival is running from October 31st – November 10th. For ticket information, head to coastalcarolinafair.org.
It’s Celadon’s birthday! Celadon is an eclectic furniture shop in Mt. Pleasant and is definitely a must-see! Help them celebrate that their Celadon 25th Anniversary Celebration! This kid-friendly event will feature face painting, food trucks, and live music! This event is open from 11 am – 4 pm on November 9th. It’s all about another Lowcountry cuisine staple at the Shrimp and Grits Festival. Head over to the Joe P. Riley Jr. park on November 9th from 12 pm – 3 pm to sample shrimp and grits from some of Charleston’s best restaurants. For more information on the festival, head over to the Riley Park website.
Head out for a Sunday-Funday on King Street November 10th for Second Sunday on King! Enjoy vendors, music and a car-free – King Street. Check the website for more details of the day and a free parking voucher!
The Taste of Hutson Alley is happening November 14th from 6-9 pm. This event features 6 chef stations to get a glimpse of what Holy City Hospitality Group restaurants have to offer. Hint: it’s pretty amazing! For more information on this event for your taste buds, head over to their Facebook event.
Bright lights in the Lowcountry! The 30th Annual Holiday Festival of Lights is back at the James Island County Park starting November 15th! For more details and ticket information, visit holidayfestivaloflights.com.

For those car enthusiasts, there is Cars & Coffee in Freshfields Village at Kiawah. This complimentary event features a display of antique and other cars. This event is November 16th from 9 am -11 am. For more information, check out Freshfields Village.
Start your holiday shopping the day after Thanksgiving at the Holiday Market at Middleton Place. This Market runs November 29th – 30th from 9 am – 5 pm and features local artisans and vendors. For more information, visit the Middleton Place website.
Need to grab some exercise before the big Thanksgiving dinner? Grab your sneakers and head over to the 42nd Annual Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble. Starting at 9 am, Thanksgiving morning in Marion Square this is the largest 5k in South Carolina! The race benefits charitable organizations in Charleston. Give back and burn some calories!
