Middleton Place is featuring Camellia Walking Tours March 3rd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 14th. Special 11:00 am walking tours given by expert guides focus on the historic camellias, including the 1786 Reine des Fleurs, one of the first camellias planted in America. Tours last approximately 75 minutes.

Lowcountry Stargazers will be set up in Brittlebank Park starting March 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th at 6:00 pm for Astronomy in the Park! They will have telescopes set up to view the stars and there will be a question and answer session. This event is sure to be out of this world! Managed by the Antiques Council, the 17th Annual Charleston  Antiques Show, March 6-8, 2020 will bring approximately 30 dealers of fine arts and antiques from across the world to The Gaillard Center for a magnificent three-day show. You will find paintings, jewelry, furniture, rugs, decorative objects, silver and many more treasures to behold. Explore the show all three days and enjoy a Bloody Mary on Sunday morning while you stroll through the exhibits.

The Annual Charleston STEM (which stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) festival is March 7th, 2020  from 10 am – 3 pm at Exchange Park in Ladson. This educational festival features 80 exhibitors featuring hands-on learning activities for children of all ages.

Head out for a Sunday-Funday on King Street March 8th for Second Sunday on King! Enjoy vendors, music and a car-free – King Street. Check the website for more details of the day and a free parking voucher! 

Celebrate the luck of the Irish at the 17th Annual North Charleston St. Paddy’s Day Block Party and Parade March 14th, 12-6 pm. This event features a St. Paddy’s parade at noon, kids zone, live music, and food vendors will be set up for the block party! Don’t miss this kid-friendly event! The 73rd Festival of Houses and Gardens starts March 11th and runs through April 18th. Participants can choose their event and purchase tickets. Every Wednesday through Sunday til March 15th, Lights of Magnolia will illuminate 9 acres of the grounds of Magnolia Plantation and Gardens from 5:30 to 9:30 PM. Check out their Facebook invite for more details.

This year’s Walk for Water event hosted by Water Mission is a great charity fundraiser event! Each year, participants walk 3.5 miles in Charleston, starting at Riverfront Park to raise money for others to have access to clean water. This year’s event is on March 21st at 9 am. Pets everywhere are getting excited for this year’s Pet Fest in Mount Pleasant! Charleston County Parks invites the community (and their furry friends) to come out for a day of exhibits, demonstrations, experts, contests, adoptable pets, and more at Charleston’s premiere pet festival. Pet Fest returns Saturday, March 21 at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will come to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center from March 27 to March 29 as part of a multi-season North American tour.
